This page lists events in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida, each with the date its organizer publishes and a link to that organizer. We checked every date on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. The City’s own events directory mixes concerts with board meetings and code hearings, so we pulled out only the public events downtown and on its edges. Where no date is posted, we say so instead of guessing.

The published schedules this checker uses

Worked out from schedules checked October 20, 2026, on each organiser's own page. The City's GreenMarket hours page still showed the 2025-26 season when we checked, so the 2026-27 end date and the two skipped Saturdays come from Discover The Palm Beaches; the opening date is the City's.

Clematis by Night: free, every Thursday

The City of West Palm Beach describes Clematis by Night as an award-winning weekly concert series every Thursday, 6 to 9 p.m., on the Great Lawn. Its upcoming list places the shows at Centennial Square and the Great Lawn, at the foot of Clematis Street on the Waterfront. The City’s event pages describe the concerts as free and invite you to bring a lawn chair or blanket. In May 2026 the City said the series ranked No. 1 in the Best Outdoor Concert Series category of the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice poll.

Special Thursdays and nights off

The City’s lineup for the rest of 2026, as posted on its Clematis by Night page:

  • October 22: Dee Dee Wilde Band.
  • October 29: Clematis by FRIGHT, the Halloween edition, with Uncle Morty’s Rhythm Cream, 6 to 9 p.m.
  • November 5, 12 and 19: Cover to Cover, Terry Hanck, then Big Al & the Heavyweights.
  • November 26: no concert (Thanksgiving).
  • December 3: the Holiday in Paradise tree lighting, 6 to 10 p.m. (see below).
  • December 10 and 17: Friday@5, then the Aloha Islanders Tropical Holiday Spectacular.
  • December 24: no concert.
  • December 31: Sandi’s New Year’s Eve, 8:00 p.m. to midnight.

No 2027 dates are posted. A Discover The Palm Beaches listing gives a weekly window of May 28 to November 26, 2026, which ends earlier than the City’s own list, so we follow the City. The City’s event pages mention island-inspired food and a Margarita Tent on themed nights. Its Community Events FAQ says City-sponsored events welcome leashed dogs, and anyone who wants to be a Clematis by Night vendor should call Community Events at 561-822-1515.

Holiday season on the Waterfront

The City says Holiday in Paradise, presented by Florida Power & Light, runs November 27 to December 31 on the West Palm Beach Waterfront, with the theme The Art of Holidays and Sandi, the City’s sand tree, at the heart of it. The City also says the schedule details are still coming together, so we list only the nights it has posted.

Sandi tree lighting: Thursday, December 3, 2026

The City lists the Holiday in Paradise Tree Lighting on Thursday, December 3, 2026, 6 to 10 p.m., as a free celebration with the official lighting of Sandi. It gives the place as Waterfront Commons, Meyer Amphitheatre and Flagler Drive, 100 N. Clematis Street. The lighting takes that week’s Clematis by Night slot. The City’s recurring listing already shows Thursday, December 2, 2027 for next year’s lighting.

Winter in Paradise: Friday, December 4, 2026

The City lists Winter in Paradise with ReaXtion Band and DJ Scoobz on Friday, December 4, 2026, 6 to 9 p.m., free, and calls it the 10th annual. Its series page says Rhythm on Rosemary brings music and holiday fun to the Historic Northwest Neighborhood. The venue is where City pages disagree: the December 4 listing gives Northwood Road, 33406, the series page says the Historic Northwest, and an older City page put the event at Heart & Soul Park, 825 N. Rosemary Avenue. We do not print one venue. Call Community Events at (561) 822-1515 before you go.

Palm Beach International Boat Show: March 17 to 21, 2027

The Palm Beach International Boat Show says it will take place March 17 to 21, 2027, along Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach, across from Palm Beach Island. It lists hours of Wednesday, March 17, 12 PM to 7 PM; Thursday to Saturday, 10 AM to 7 PM; and Sunday, March 21, 10 AM to 5 PM. Discover The Palm Beaches says there is no GreenMarket on Saturday, March 20, 2027 because of the show. City garages charge $5 all day on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, but the City says that flat rate excludes special events, and its Rates and Payment page lists special event rates of up to $100.

Palm Tree Music Festival weekends

The Palm Tree Music Festival site lists two 2027 weekends: February 6 to 7 and February 19 to 20, 2027. It does not state the venue or the city. Discover The Palm Beaches says the GreenMarket is closed on February 6 because of the Palm Tree Festival, which suggests a downtown footprint, but the organizer has not said so, and we do not name a venue.
