The West Palm Beach GreenMarket is the City of West Palm Beach’s Saturday farmers market on the downtown Waterfront. This page gathers what the City, Discover The Palm Beaches and the Downtown Development Authority publish about the 2026-27 season: dates, hours, the address, which streets close, where to park free, the bike valet, dogs, vendors and the market’s history. We checked all of it on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

Wondering about one particular Saturday? The What’s on this date? checker on our events page answers yes or no for any date, with the skipped Saturdays built in.

2026-27 season dates

The City says the GreenMarket returns for its 32nd season on Saturday, October 3, 2026, with the theme “The World, Right Here,” bringing local produce, food from around the globe, live music, Chef Showcases and Pop-Up Workshops to the waterfront. Discover The Palm Beaches lists the market from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM every Saturday through May 22, 2027, except two Saturdays.

A note on the City’s hours page

The City’s Hours, Location & Parking page for the market still shows last season’s dates and boat show closure. The 2026-27 start comes from the City’s main GreenMarket page; the end date and the two skipped Saturdays come from Discover The Palm Beaches, not from a City page. Hours, address, parking and closures on that City page match this season’s listing, and we use them below.

  • The City's GreenMarket Hours, Location & Parking page still reads "Saturdays, October 4, 2025 through May 30, 2026" with a March 28 closure for the boat show. The City's main GreenMarket page gives the 2026-27 start (October 3); the 2026-27 end date (May 22, 2027) and skip dates (Feb. 6 and March 20, 2027) come from Discover The Palm Beaches, not a City page. Hours and Quiet Shopping Time

The City lists GreenMarket hours as 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays. It sets a Quiet Shopping Time from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. each Saturday, and Quiet Spaces sit around the eastern edge of the market footprint. If crowds or noise are hard for someone in your group, that first half hour is the time the City sets aside for it.

Where it is

The City gives 100 N. Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, Florida 33401 as the address to use for GPS. That is the Waterfront at the foot of Clematis Street: the City says the Palm Stage and the Great Lawn are at 100 North Clematis Street, reached from Flagler Drive, Narcissus Avenue or Clematis Street. Our Waterfront page shows what else is there, from the fountain to the Lake Pavilion.

Road closures on market days

The City says that on market days the 100 to 400 blocks of Clematis, plus Olive, Dixie and Flagler between Banyan and Datura, are closed from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. That is longer than the market itself, so plan for the closures if you are driving to a brunch or an appointment downtown on a Saturday. Banyan Boulevard is not on the City’s closure list, and three of the City garages have Banyan Boulevard addresses. Block-by-block detail is on our Clematis Street page.

Parking: three free garages and two $5 ones

The City says parking is free during market hours (8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) at the City Center Garage, the Clematis Street Garage and the Sapodilla City Garage. It says the Banyan Garage (200 Banyan Boulevard) and the Evernia Garage (333 Evernia Street) are closest to the market and charge the City’s all-day weekend flat rate of $5.00. City pages disagree on two street numbers, so we show both.

The free window is market hours. Outside it, the City’s garage rates say $5.00 all day on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, excluding special events. Check the clearance before you drive in: the Banyan and Evernia garages are the lowest. The parking picker ranks garages by walk to the market with the GreenMarket Saturday rate built in.

Bike valet, West Palm Move and dogs

The City says a free bike valet runs Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 143 N. Narcissus Avenue, at the corner of Narcissus and Clematis. The West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority provides it and Bike West Palm Beach runs it.

Without a car or bike, the City’s West Palm Move fixed route runs north and south between the Norton Museum of Art and Northwood Village, with stops including downtown and Clematis, and runs from 8:00am to 9:00pm on Saturdays. A ride costs $1, paid by tapping a card, phone or watch; cash is not accepted. The City says West Palm Move is a new City service, separate from previous trolley operations. More on our getting here page.

The City’s history page says the GreenMarket is leashed dog-friendly.

Vendors and the jury process

The City’s vendor page lists the “2025-27 Season Vendors” alphabetically, including farms, bakeries, coffee and tea sellers, flower and plant sellers and prepared foods. Prepared-food vendors on that list include Havana Restaurant, Leila Restaurant, Korean Kitchen and Funky Donkey Burritos. The City says vendors secure their spots through a competitive jury process. It publishes no vendor count, so we give none.

Discover The Palm Beaches says five new vendors join this season (Ba Cafe, Arya Tea Bar, Macaroner, Sayblee Products and Truffle Smiles), and that four longtime vendors became Legacy Vendors: Leila, Macy’s Smoked Fish Dip, Makebs and Mozzarita. Legacy Vendor status, it says, goes to vendors who have been at the market for 15 years or more and no longer need to compete for their spot.

Want to sell? The City says applications for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 seasons have closed and will open again in March 2027. Questions go to the GreenMarket Coordinator at GreenMarket@wpb.org or (561) 822-1515.

History since 1995 and the rankings

The City says the first West Palm Beach GreenMarket opened in November 1995 with 13 vendors in the parking lot of the Old City Hall, and calls it the first weekly public farmers market in Palm Beach County. On rankings, the City says the market earned three consecutive No. 1 titles, placed No. 2 in 2024 and 2025, and returned to No. 1 in 2026. The City’s history page does not name the poll; WPTV credits the 2026 No. 1 to the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. More of downtown’s past is on our history page.

The market sets up on the Waterfront, a short walk from Clematis Street’s restaurants and shops (see our restaurants and shopping pages). The Norton Museum of Art says City of West Palm Beach residents get free admission for one every Saturday year round with valid ID. The History Museum in the 1916 courthouse is open Saturdays, 10 am to 4 pm, per the Historical Society. On Saturday, October 31, 2026, LagoonFest is next door at 201 Fern Street, per Discover The Palm Beaches.
