Clematis by Night is the City of West Palm Beach’s free Thursday concert series on the waterfront. The City lists every show through the end of 2026, and that list has a few Thursdays that are not regular concerts. We read the City’s Clematis by Night page on October 20, 2026 and laid out each remaining Thursday below, with the nights off and the special editions marked.

The short version, checked October 20, 2026

From the date we checked, 11 Thursdays remain in 2026. six are regular concerts, three are special nights (Halloween, the tree lighting, New Year’s Eve) and two have no concert. The next show is Thursday, October 22, 2026, two days after we checked.

Every Thursday left in 2026

The City describes the series as an award-winning weekly concert every Thursday, 6 to 9 PM, and lists upcoming shows at Centennial Square and the Great Lawn. Here is each Thursday from our check date to the end of the year, with the act the City lists:

  • Thursday, October 22: Dee Dee Wilde Band, 6 to 9 PM.
  • Thursday, October 29: Clematis by FRIGHT, the Halloween edition, with Uncle Morty’s Rhythm Cream, 6 to 9 PM.
  • Thursday, November 5: Cover to Cover, 6 to 9 PM.
  • Thursday, November 12: Terry Hanck, 6 to 9 PM.
  • Thursday, November 19: Big Al & the Heavyweights, 6 to 9 PM.
  • Thursday, November 26: No concert (Thanksgiving).
  • Thursday, December 3: No regular concert: the Sandi tree lighting takes the waterfront, 6 to 10 PM.
  • Thursday, December 10: Friday@5, 6 to 9 PM.
  • Thursday, December 17: Aloha Islanders Tropical Holiday Spectacular, 6 to 9 PM.
  • Thursday, December 24: No concert (the City marks it NO CONCERT).
  • Thursday, December 31: Sandi’s New Year’s Eve, 8 PM to midnight.

The special nights

Thursday, October 29: Clematis by FRIGHT

The City lists Clematis by FRIGHT with Uncle Morty’s Rhythm Cream, 6 to 9 PM. It is the Halloween edition of the series and keeps the usual hours and place.

Thursday, December 3: the Sandi tree lighting

There is no regular concert this Thursday. The City lists the Holiday in Paradise Tree Lighting from 6 to 10 PM, an hour longer than a normal show, at Waterfront Commons, Meyer Amphitheatre and Flagler Drive. It is free and includes the official lighting of Sandi, the City’s sand tree. Our Sandi tree lighting guide covers the night.

Thursday, December 31: Sandi’s New Year’s Eve

The year’s last Thursday is also New Year’s Eve. The City lists Clematis by Night: Sandi’s New Year’s Eve from 8 PM to midnight at Centennial Square and the Great Lawn. That starts two hours later than a regular show and ends three hours later.

The nights off

The City’s list marks Thursday, November 26, 2026 (Thanksgiving) and Thursday, December 24, 2026 as NO CONCERT. If a third-party calendar shows a band on either night, trust the City. One county tourism listing gives a weekly window of May 28 to November 26, 2026, which would end the series on a night the City has marked off. The City’s own list runs through December 31.

What to bring and who can come

The City’s event pages describe the concerts as free and invite guests to bring a lawn chair or a blanket. Its Community Events FAQ says City-sponsored events welcome leashed dogs. The City’s venue page says the Great Lawn has public restrooms on site and parking one block away.

Looking for Centennial Square on a map? The City gives two addresses: its fountain listing says 150 N. Clematis Street, and its venues page says 100 South Clematis Street. Event listings use 100 N. Clematis Street, which is the address we put in a GPS. The Waterfront page shows what sits where between the lawn, the fountain and the amphitheatre.

Getting there and parking on a Thursday

West Palm Move’s fixed route runs until 9 PM on weekdays, the same minute a regular concert ends, so for the ride home plan on the $2 on-demand service, which the City lists until 10 PM. Our West Palm Move guide explains fares and stops.

  • The City lists fixed-route hours as Monday to Friday 6:00am to 9:00pm, Saturday 8:00am to 9:00pm and Sunday 8:00am to 8:00pm. Its launch release lists on-demand service daily, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. City of West Palm Beach: West Palm Move

The City names the Banyan garage, at Banyan Boulevard and Narcissus Avenue, as the closest City garage to the Palm Stage and the Great Lawn. Thursday is a weekday, so the normal garage rate applies unless an event rate is posted: $1 for the first two hours, then $2 per half hour, with a $20 daily maximum. Park at 6 PM and leave at 9 PM and that comes to $5 by our arithmetic. Street meters in the City’s Zone A cost $2.50 an hour with a two-hour limit, shorter than a three-hour concert, so a garage is the easier choice. The parking picker ranks every garage by walk to the lawn.

  • The City says the Palm Stage and the Great Lawn are at 100 North Clematis Street, reached from Flagler Drive, Narcissus Avenue or Clematis Street; the closest City garage is the Banyan garage at Banyan Boulevard and Narcissus Avenue. City of West Palm Beach: Directions and Parking
